Harness or child seat - all lifts come with a seat belt as standard, but safety harnesses are available to provide additional security. A specially designed seat for children and infants is also available; this seat can easily be replaced by an adult seat when required
Footrest Raiser - optional footrest raisers can help fold away the lift for those who have difficulty bending

Power supply
Meditek stairlifts are powered by direct current (DC) from rechargeable batteries. The mains power is stepped down with a transformer, so there is no mains power to your stairlift. Unlike other stairlifts, Meditek lifts do not rely on charging stations at the end of each track. Instead, the Meditek lift incorporates a charging strip that runs the length of the track to ensure the batteries are constantly charged, no matter where the lift is positioned on the stairs. This ensures the lift will always be available for use, even in the event of a mains power failure. |
